In our case, we were on the buying side but we were lucky enough to meet and get to know Edward Whitaker at Vickery as he was representing the selling side. Edward was engaged from the very start of the process after we had put in our offer and, whilst jealously representing his clients' best interests (as he should), he also went out of his way to try to ensure that things were moving forward and that both side's legal counsel kept their eye on the ball. We took advantage of the offer of the “All in one” service from Vickery, and we were very pleased to do so. Vickery run a well organised system so all the legal paperwork can be handled efficiently, this minimised the amount of work we had to do! All in all, a very smooth and easy process. We had some delays caused by our end, Elliot was very professional and helped us by communicating with us and the purchaser of our property to make sure everyone was kept up-to-date and the transaction still went through. On the legal paperwork side, I dealt mainly with Allison, and she was lovely, she helped to explain all the steps and helped to keep me organised. We received our original paperwork back, all neatly organised. From the very beginning, we were really impressed with Vickery. We worked mainly with Elliot, and Sarah at the start. Their approach was the main reason we chose Vickery. They understood our particular situation and always followed our instructions to keep the house spotless in between viewings.

Our sale in November ‘22 of a large 6 bedroom property was a complicated and at times demanding process. I cannot recommend Vickery enough, in particular Edward from Frimley/Camberley who has guided us through every step of the way for the last 6 months, whilst we are expecting our first baby! Weekly updates and statistics by phone call were a minimum and unexpected. Communication towards exchange increased to daily phone calls sometimes up to 4/5 times. This wasn’t just to ourselves but relevant solicitors and estate agents within the chain along with our buyer also. Communication has always been fast and no email or call was left unanswered. Edward comes across professional, knowledgeable, has a great personality he always went out his way to help and nothing was too much trouble! The rest of the team were all helpful, however Edward was who we had all our communication with. Would use Vickery again without a doubt and request we deal with Ed again. Vickery have been absolutely amazing from the very start. They sold the property very quickly and kept us informed every week. Unfortunately this sale fell through 2 weeks before exchange. They got straight back onto selling again and after a few pitfalls with offers they pulled in my buyer and even got me the full asking price. Edward called every week keeping us updated on progress and all the staff have gone out of their way to help and get the sale. We chose Vickery to market our property as we felt that they could offer us that good old fashioned service where you could actually speak to somebody rather than just relying on the internet. Using Vickery to sell my recent property has been a complete success and I have been impressed with the full service offering, including legal support throughout the sale. I originally marketed my property through Vickery in February 2020, a sale which eventually had to be abandoned due to the instability in the market. Despite this, and at not extra cost, Vickery helped me with the property and kept an eye on the property as I was stuck at the other end of the country whilst I bought in a tenant to cover the lockdown period.
